Lakshya is a sweet shop and restaurant located in Jind, Haryana. Owned by a well renowned milk plant owner, the shop serves a varied range of Indian sweets and snacks both traditional and modern. The brief was to design a contemporary space for a sweet shop which would be unique to the otherwise rural setting. The ground floor is riddled with a multicity of materials and their interpretations from the display counters to the chandeliers which become a sort of statement in exclusivity. The basement houses the restaurant and an efficient sitting area which maintains the contemporary ambience and spatiality within a limited linearity.
