The building had to be capable of providing shelter from the glaring summer sun due to the region’s variable weather patterns. To minimise internal heat accumulation, the building is thus placed diagonally toward the west. The structure is shaped by tubes-covered vertical shade systems to give its residents a comfortable internal environment.
The concrete cylinders, with their simplistic shape, provide dynamism to the entire composition. The right angles are virtually lost in the smooth edges that make the fenestrations appear inviting to passersby.
